Roadmaster UK and RoSPARoadmaster are proud to be a member of the RoSPA organization and we endeavor to support the educational programmes and demands to teach our young children about everyday hazards on our very busy and dangerous roads. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents "welcomed progress towards making Britain's roads the safest in the world as figures revealed new record lows in the number of people killed and injured in crashes, however, RoSPA is very concerned that child deaths did not follow this pattern in 2007-8" (Care on The Road August 2009). At Roadmaster we are constantly improving our range of Road Safety teaching equipment and every effort is made to listen to our customers and their needs when teaching road safety awareness to young children. We hope to provide at the very least an opportunity for children to receive basic road awareness skills that can be illustrated by using our sets of equipment… and importantly, it can also be fun and made interesting by introducing imaginative role playing activities. RoSPA work hand in hand with many Road Traffic Safety Officers, authorities, organizations and services that run workshops to highlight road safety issues. They also offer a comprehensive range of resources and services to support these safety initiatives in all areas of life. RoSPA's 75th Road Safety Congress (February 2010) will invite delegates to hear about road safety strategies, case studies and examples of best practice from around the world.
